No. Staffing agencies typically place shared or semi-dedicated workers across multiple clients. Our professionals work exclusively for your organisation, full-time, integrated into your specific team.
We focus on mid-senior and senior professionals based in South Africa, with three or more years of relevant experience. We work across marketing, technology, data, and operations roles.
Yes, EmbedPeople is based in the Netherlands. We operate across Europe and work with a South African recruitment and HR network.
Yes. After a qualifying period (typically 12 months), you can transition the professional to direct employment if you wish. We work with you to make this transition smooth. A conversion fee applies, which we discuss upfront.
All embedded professionals sign comprehensive confidentiality agreements as part of their employment contract. We can also accommodate specific NDA requirements or security policies your organisation requires. For roles involving sensitive data, we screen candidates for relevant security awareness and compliance experience.
There is a minimum initial commitment of three months. After that, the arrangement continues month-to-month with a 30-day notice period.

How It Works

Our typical timeline is four to six weeks from initial briefing to the professional starting with your team. This includes candidate sourcing, screening, presenting a shortlist, your interview process, and onboarding.
Yes. We present a curated shortlist and you conduct structured interviews with the candidates you want to meet. You make the final selection.
If a placement is not working, we address it together. If the situation cannot be resolved, we can end the arrangement with the notice period specified in your service agreement.
Yes. The embedded professional works directly with you and your team. They report into your management structure.
Embedded professionals follow a holiday schedule agreed upon during onboarding. Typically, this is a blend of South African and client-country holidays, with the total number of leave days specified in the service agreement. We ensure alignment with your team's expectations.
Yes. If a placement is not working despite reasonable efforts to resolve the situation, we will source and present replacement candidates at no additional recruitment cost. The specifics are covered in your service agreement.
We verify that all professionals have reliable internet connectivity, a suitable workspace, and backup power solutions. For hardware, some clients provide company laptops (shipped to South Africa), while others allow professionals to use their own equipment subject to security requirements. We discuss the best approach during onboarding.
Absolutely. Many clients start with one embedded professional and scale to two or more as they see the model working. We can source and place multiple professionals in parallel.

No upfront recruitment fees. Our pricing is entirely monthly. The cost of sourcing and placing the right professional is built into the model.
The standard notice period is 30 days, as specified in your service agreement.
