Financial Analyst
A financial analyst who provides the financial modelling and analysis your business decisions depend on.
About this role
A financial analyst who gives your leadership clarity on the numbers that matter. Builds financial models, analyses performance against budget, prepares management reports, and provides the quantitative foundation for strategic decisions.
Your embedded financial analyst builds and maintains financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, analyses actual performance against budget and prior periods, prepares monthly and quarterly management reports, supports board reporting and investor materials, and conducts ad-hoc financial analysis for business cases and strategic initiatives.
Typical Profile
3-6 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
Experience with accounting and ERP systems (Xero, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Understanding of IFRS or local GAAP accounting standards
Strong presentation skills for management and board-level reporting
Analytical rigour combined with commercial awareness
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CA(SA), CFA, or CIMA is a strong plus)
